Test Engineer

This position requires an active TS/Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.

Criterion Systems is seeking a Test Engineer to support our government client. The Test Engineer will be part of a software development SCRUM team assisting with software requirements verification. The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of SCRUM processes and System Requirements verification (such as Jira, Agility, or Confluence).

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Test Engineer: $120,000 - $134,000. Pay commensurate with experience.

Full time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, and other possible benefits as provided. Benefits are subject to change with or without notice.

Test Engineer Responsibilities Include:
  • Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.
  • Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.
  • Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.
  • Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.
  • Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.
  • Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.
  • Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Test Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance
  • Experience with requirements verification in an AGILE software development organization.
  • Experience with system of systems testing.
  • Experience with test automation software.
  • Experience with AGILE tracking tools and working on AGILE software scrum teams is highly desired
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
