Data Intelligence, LLC (DI) is looking for talented and experienced Computer Systems Engineer/Architect located at Wright-Patterson AFB. This position is fully on-site.

**This position is contingent upon award of contract**

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop scalable and secure enterprise architectures for DoD IT systems.
  • Analyze system requirements and provide engineering solutions that align with DoD policies and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Perform systems management and integration functions to ensure seamless interoperability between platforms.
  • Design and develop solutions to complex application problems, system administration issues, or network concerns.
  • Conduct system integration, testing, and validation to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Implement and maintain network, cloud, and software-based architectures in compliance with DoD standards.
  • Support risk management processes, including security assessments, vulnerability analysis, and mitigation strategies.
  • Evaluate factors such as the number of departments serviced by data processing equipment, reporting formats required, volume of transactions, time requirements, cost constraints, and need for security and access restrictions to determine hardware configurations.
  • Analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan layout for type of computers and peripheral equipment, or modifications to existing equipment and system that will provide capability for proposed project or workload, efficient operation, and effective use of allotted space.
  • Confer with various managers and staff within the organization to obtain information on limitations and capabilities of existing systems and the capabilities and requirements of future systems.
  • Develop technical documentation, system design diagrams, and reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with software engineers, cybersecurity specialists, and program managers to deliver robust IT solutions.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and DoD regulations to ensure compliance and system effectiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
  • Must have a full understanding of the technical approach to be used by the Contractor's development team and will be responsible for ensuring that the Contractor's development team follows that approach.

Required Qualifications:
  • Master's degree Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in system engineering, architecture, or a related role within DoD, government contracting, or naval operations.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience designing and developing complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concenrs
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience performing systems management and integration functions
  • Active Secret (or higher) security clearance.
  • Security+ certification required
  • Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements (e.g., RMF, NIST 800-53, DISA STIGs).
  • Experience with cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, or DoD cloud solutions).
  • Proficiency in networking, virtualization, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, CCNA, AWS Solutions Architect, or DoD 8570.01-M compliance certifications.
  • Experience with system automation, scripting, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools.
  • Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) and modern cybersecurity frameworks.
