Job Title: Cleared Cloud Engineer (Secret Clearance Required)

Position Overview: Innovatus Technology Consulting is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cleared Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a professional with at least a Secret Clearance, a strong foundation in cloud technologies, and experience with Microsoft Azure (AZ-104) and VMware. The successful candidate will work remotely while supporting operations aligned with East Coast business hours.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions tailored to client needs, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
• Maintain, monitor, and enhance cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Leverage VMware expertise to integrate on-premises environments with cloud infrastructure as needed.
• Implement and uphold compliance with government security and operational standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative cloud solutions while ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Troubleshoot complex cloud and virtualization issues and develop resolutions.
• Document technical processes, solutions, and recommendations to maintain a knowledge base.

Qualifications:

• Active Secret Clearance (required).
• AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator Certification (required).
• Hands-on experience with VMware (required).
• Demonstrated expertise in designing, deploying, and managing cloud infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Solid understanding of government cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Additional certifications (e.g., AZ-305, VMware Certified Professional).
• Experience in hybrid cloud solutions and migration strategies.
• Familiarity with government contracting environments or agencies.

Work Hours:

• Must be available to work and collaborate during East Coast business hours.
