ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. AFSS is seeking a Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) program.

ASRC Federal System Solutions, LLC. (AFSS), a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is a premier provider of systems engineering, software engineering, system integration and project management services for real-time, mission-critical defense systems. AFSS is seeking a Systems Engineer in Colorado Springs, CO to support the Ground Based Radar Maintenance and Sustainment Service (GMASS) program.
Key Role:
- Will conduct and lead the F0022 Delivery Order (DO) as the DO Lead, attentive to risk analysis and mitigation assessment for impacts to schedule or
- technical delays.
- Play an active, leading role on one of several teams providing analysis and oversight to the implementation of cybersecurity, supportability and new
- capability updates to the various objectives in the DO. Such as and not limited to hardware, software, cybersecurity, test and sustainability functions.
- Will directly interface and engage in communications with the Customer in support of scope and requirements definition
- Support system requirements reviews and creating and/or updating requirement specifications and technical documentation in order to meet contractual
- delivery of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) and Data Accession Lists (DALs).
- Generate, review, and update systems engineering documentation and collaborate with radar subject matter experts to ensure specifications meet system
- needs and are accurate, comprehensive, consistent, and complete
- Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, team-oriented environment and be a self-starter, efficient in achieving goals and proactive in pursuing subsequent
- tasks.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with nine (9) years of systems engineering experience; or seven (7) years' experience with a Master's degree; or four (4) years with PhD.
- Interim DoD Secret clearance.
- Experience in using a requirements management tool, such as DOORS, Jira, and Confluence.
- Familiarity with MS Office suite of tools (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
