Technical Project Manager
Location : Hybrid/ Rockville, Maryland
Description :
Seeking a highly experienced Technical Project Manager to lead our software development projects with a strong emphasis on agile development methodologies. The successful candidate will have overall responsibility for project performance, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
• Oversee the performance of software development projects, ensuring adherence to agile development principles.
• Manage project scope, timelines, and resources effectively to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and cloud technology best practices.
• Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, roadmaps, and status reports.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and ensuring their expectations are met.
Required Skills:
• Proven track record in managing complex software development projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP Preferred
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field from an accredited university; Masters is preferred.
• Ten (10) years of IT project management experience, with extensive knowledge of agile development, cybersecurity, and cloud technologies.
