Sr. Software Developer
Our client is seeking a senior-level Software Developer experienced in Python. This position requires motivated, self-learning individuals who want to pick up new skills and technologies quickly to meet customer needs. Experience with Agile development and code reviews is essential to team culture and success.
Responsibilities:
• Designs, develops, tests, and maintains software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle that meets
industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards
• Reviews, analyzes, and translates customer requirements into initial design of software products
• Debugs and resolves issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products
• Implements current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks and changes in regulations relevant
to software development
• Develops, establishes, monitors and improves software processes, tools and key performance metrics
that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks
• Executes and documents software research and development projects
Qualifications:
• B.S. in Computer Science or other related field
• 9+ years of experience with Python, Go, PHP, C#, Java, Matlab
• 5+ years of experience with developer tools such as git, linting tools, IDEs, Linux, AWS infrastructure,
Docker, Kubernetes
• This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret/Top Secret SCI Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship
Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
• Experience and understanding of relational databases and the underlying principles associated with
them: ACID, CAP, transactions, and the n+1 problem.
• Experience with API development
• Back-end tech stack experience: Nginx, ASGI, WSGI, relational databases, API server development,
working within a framework, AWS infrastructure (SQS, SNS, S3)
• Familiarity with CI/CD, tools involved in the process, and deployment of software applications
