OVERVIEW
Caribou Thunder is seeking a highly skilled Program Management professionals to support Space Systems Command (SSC) Space Domain Awareness and Combat Power (SDACP), Battle Management, Command, Control, and Communications (BMC3), and other mission partners. These roles will provide Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) across multiple current and future classified and unclassified space programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have experience in program management, acquisition, logistics, contracting, operations, and administration to support the Government throughout the life cycle of space weapon system programs. This opportunity is part of a multiple-award Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract supporting critical space programs for the U.S. Space Force and mission partners.
1. Assist in managing program planning, execution, and risk management.
2. Support Program Management Reviews (PMRs), status reporting, and acquisition documentation.
3. Conduct cost, schedule, and performance assessments.
4. Provide administrative support for contract execution and program tracking.
5. Assist in the preparation of acquisition strategies and milestone documentation.
6. Ensure compliance with DoD acquisition policies, regulations, and best practices.
7. Maintain clearance requirements and adhere to security protocols.
SENIOR RESPONSIBILITIES
8. Lead program execution to support SSC/SZ-BC, BMC3, and mission partner objectives.
9. Oversee and coordinate cost, schedule, and technical performance.
10. Conduct risk assessments, identify mitigation strategies, and ensure successful program delivery.
11. Lead and manage Program Management Reviews (PMRs).
12. Provide expertise in budgeting, contracting, logistics, and sustainment.
13. Develop strategic plans to optimize program effectiveness.
14. Coordinate with Government and industry stakeholders to ensure mission success.
SME RESPONSINBILITIES
15. Serve as a key advisor to senior Government leaders and industry partners.
16. Develop and implement enterprise-wide program strategies for space acquisition and sustainment.
17. Provide expert analysis, risk assessments, and recommendations for space programs.
18. Support high-level engagements, including congressional briefings and executive-level meetings.
19. Lead strategic planning, digital transformation, and technology integration.
20. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define mission needs and align resources.
21. Mentor and guide teams across multiple functional areas.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Familiarity with space systems, acquisition processes, and DoD contracts.
2. Experience supporting cross-functional teams and working with Government stakeholders.
3. Experience supporting classified space acquisition programs.
4. Ability to work in collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to adapt to changing DoD policies, standards, and operational environments.
7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, DoD acquisition tools, and program management software.
SENIOR QUALIFICATIONS
8. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred in Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
9. 10+ years of experience in DoD program management, acquisition, or space systems.
10. Extensive knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, lifecycle management, and financial planning.
11. Strong leadership skills with team management and stakeholder engagement experience.
SME QUALIFICATIONS
12. Master’s or Ph.D. in a relevant field strongly preferred.
13. Recognized as an industry leader with 20+ years of experience in space program management, acquisition, or advanced technology integration.
14. Extensive knowledge of space operations, acquisition strategies, and defense contracting.
15. Strong background in digital engineering, cybersecurity, and emerging technologies.
16. Proven ability to advise senior leaders and drive strategic decision-making.
17. Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.
