Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking a skilled Solid Rocket Motor Tech to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will have extensive Solid Rocket Motor (SRM) knowledge. Candidate will focus on propulsion design, fabrication, and production. Join our innovative team and contribute to impactful national security initiatives.
Work Location: Arlington, VA
Pre-Requisites:
• Expert in SRM design, fabrication, and test gained from prior lead roles through development programs, from concept to delivery
• Expert in SRM design and analysis disciplines, including mechanical analysis, thermal analysis, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)
• Extensive knowledge of SRM fabrication methods to include metal additive manufacturing, composites, and propellant
• Experience with project engineering, project management, risk-based design, system integration
• Experience with test vehicle development and launch
• Experience with SRM regulations, standards, and policies, including those related to design, development, testing, and operation to assist in stakeholder management and ensure compliance with industry and government requirements
Required Experience:
• Demonstrated abilities in program management, project lifecycle, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, risk management, integration strategies, technology transition, requirements analysis, mission architecture, performance metrics, verification and validation, technical standards
• Ability to familiarize and adapt with technical areas
• Resilient in supporting dynamic program environments
• Persistence to find technical and administrative solutions and break down roadblocks
• Strong organization and project management skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Strong PowerPoint navigation
• 10-12 years of experience in mechanical engineering (or closely related discipline), system design, and advanced manufacturing methods
• TS/SCI Clearance up to SAP
