Hardware Design Engineer

Piper Companies is currently seeking a Hardware Design Engineer to work on-site in Saratoga, CA 5 days per week . The ideal Hardware Design Engineer possesses extensive experience in digital and circuit design for digital systems in networking and data center devices, aimed at enhancing advanced electronic systems.

Responsibilities of the Hardware Design Engineer:

• Lead the digital design and development of hardware components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and cost objectives
• Participate in all sages of hardware development from definition and digital design to qualification and product release.
• Oversee the entire board processing and manufacturing lifecycle, from prototyping to mass production
• Use Cadence and Allegro for schematic capture
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of hardware designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations

Qualifications of the Hardware Design Engineer:

• 10+ years' experience in digital design and system-level development with a focus in computer, network or server industries
• Expertise in 100G+ Ethernet
• Experience in Original Design Manufacturing (ODM) and Joint Design Manufacturing (JDM)
• BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an Active U.S. Government Secret Clearance

Compensation for the Hardware Engineer - Digital Design:

• Salary Range: $180,000 - $230,000 annually
