Position Summary
The Help Desk Technician III will help a talented team of service desk technicians and engineers that demonstrate high quality technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the best levels of availability, performance & security.

Position Summary
The Help Desk Technician III will help a talented team of service desk technicians and engineers that demonstrate high quality technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the best levels of availability, performance & security.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Tier 2 support for Tier 1s and Tier 2s
- Planning and engineering organizations' technology infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software
- Managing and maintaining technology standards, processes and procedures for client's infrastructure
- Relies on extensive experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks
- Proficient in advanced routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
- In-depth understanding and troubleshooting of spanning-tree and other network redundancy protocols.
- Providing primarily onsite (some remote) support services to existing accounts by analyzing work orders; investigating complaint service tickets; conducting tests; resolving problems
- Directs activities necessary to keep the technology infrastructure running seamlessly. (Evaluates existing and future needs, and provides recommendations on client purchases, and assists with developing client IT budgets.
- Makes recommendations regarding client purchases, assists with client IT budgeting.
- Proactive remote monitoring of client environments based on services outlined in individual contracts and in concert with external providers
- Other tasks as needed.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Must have ISP or Data Center Experience
- 5+ years' experience in the network of a multiple site Windows server environment of at least 50 - 150 users
- CCNP Certification is preferred
- Experience supporting Windows 10 and 11 desktops
- Experience supporting Microsoft Server 2016 - 2022
- Experience with Office 365 cloud services
- Demonstrated ability to work in dynamic environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of mentoring junior team members and collaborating across departments.
