4051 Scrum Master

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support the USCG's effort in developing, deploying, maintaining, operating, and providing user support for over 30 Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) and numerous applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leading IT Agile teams within the Federal Government space. Additionally, the Scrum Master will lead IT Agile teams in modernizing legacy applications through automation and engineering tasks, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) implementation, Low-Code, No-Code, and security engineer tasks.

GENERAL DUTIES:

• Leading IT Agile teams.
• Facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
• Ensuring Agile principles and practices are followed.
• Collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders to define and prioritize the product backlog.
• Removing impediments to ensure the team can deliver high-quality work.
• Working in DevSecOps and cloud environments.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define project requirements and objectives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Certified Scrum Master.
• Technical degree, of any level, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience leading IT Agile teams.
• Experience deploying production enterprise applications.
• Experience in large-scale, high-performance enterprise application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments.
• Experience with automation and engineering tasks, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) implementation, Low-Code, No-Code, and security engineer tasks.
• Experience in DevSecOps and cloud environments.
• Must have knowledge and experience with the following:
  • Agile principles and best practices.
  • SaaS implementation, Low-Code, No-Code, and security engineering.
  • DevSecOps and cloud environments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Must have a demonstrated ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders in various formats
• Must be willing and able to travel when required to support the mission
