We are seeking a skilled and experienced Air Force Operations Research Analysts, Senior to join our team. This role requires a dynamic professional who understands Air Force supply chain processes, including retail and wholesale supply, and excels in data analysis, database management, and system support. The ideal candidate will provide critical support to government functional managers, oversee key program management tools, and contribute to process improvements for mission success.
Duties/ Responsibilities
Logistics and Supply Chain Management
Oversee wholesale and retail inventory management
Analyze and optimize Air Force supply chain processes
Support budget forecasting and financial analysis for supply chain programs
Implement process improvements for the Suspended Assets Program
System Support and Data Management
Maintain and update Microsoft Access databases for logistics tracking
Develop and execute system data queries for D035 Stock Control System
Support system change management and integration for CSWS DE program
Extract, analyze, and report on supply chain data from legacy systems
Audit, Compliance, and Risk Management
Conduct risk analysis and compliance audits for supply chain operations
Support Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) compliance
Monitor, validate, and report on Government Furnished Property (GFP) transactions
Ensure data integrity and accuracy in financial and logistics reporting
Financial and Budget Analysis
Develop and analyze Program Objective Memorandum (POM) and budget forecasts
Perform financial modeling and cost analysis for Air Force supply programs
Conduct sensitivity analysis and financial data tracking
Support financial reporting and audit response activities
Process Improvement and Program Analysis
Review and refine logistics processes and policies
Identify inefficiencies and recommend operational improvements
Implement changes to logistics and supply chain procedures based on data analysis
Support continuous improvement initiatives within Air Force logistics operations
Training and Stakeholder Engagement
Develop training materials for supply chain and logistics operations
Conduct briefings and presentations for government personnel and stakeholders
Facilitate stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
Provide training and support for logistics system tools and processes
Required Skills/Abilities
Strong expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word
Proficiency in Oracle, GOLD WebSphere, JAVA, and GUI development
Experience working with D035 Stock Control System and data query development
Knowledge of supply chain forecasting and logistics modeling tools
In-depth understanding of Air Force supply chain and logistics operations
Experience with Government Furnished Property (GFP) and financial compliance
Familiarity with Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) requirements
Strong background in data analysis, risk assessment, and compliance auditing
Ability to conduct financial modeling and budget forecasting
Experience managing logistics audits and compliance reporting
Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple high-visibility projects simultaneously
US Citizenship required
Nice to Have Skills
Experience with systems like D035A/K/L, Commercial Asset Visibility – Air Force (CAVAF), and Keystone Decision Support System.
Background in working with CSAG-S resources, POM forecasting, and related financial systems.
Familiarity with Depot-Level Reparable (DLR) processes and procedures.
Programming experience in logistics-related systems or tools is a plus.
Education and Experience:
10 years of experience and MA/MS degree is required.
Travel Requirement:
Yes some travel is required.

Secret Clearance preferred ability to obtain a Public Trust is required
