What You'll Do:
As a Systems Engineer, you will:
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification, and validation.
- Conduct cost and risk analyses, ensuring supportability and effectiveness for total systems.
- Engage in all levels of system product development, from concept to disposal.
- Convert customer or product requirements into comprehensive systems solutions.
- Execute functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, and requirements allocation.
- Translate customer requirements into precise hardware and software specifications.
- Experience with Linux Server Administration (RedHat and SLES)
- Proficiency in Windows Server and Desktop OS
- DoD IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+ CE)
- Knowledge and experience with scripting (e.g., Windows PowerShell, Linux shell scripting)
- Prior experience in requirements and verification
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Ability to work third shift as needed
- Knowledgeable in information systems networking
- Experience with VMWare/ESXi, VSphere, and Hyper-V for automated configuration/updates
- Proficiency with Excel, Agile, Atlassian tool suite (JIRA/Confluence), and IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management (ELM)
- Familiarity with applications/software such as GIT, McAfee, Nexus, Ansible
- Experience in configuration management of packages and patches, version control, and service packs
