Position Title: F-35 Support Equipment Sustainment Analyst

Job Description: The F-35 Support Equipment (SE) Sustainment Analyst serves in the Lightning Maintenance Division of the F-35 Lightning Sustainment Center. The SE Sustainment Analyst provides overall guidance, policy, and direction for the control and movement of the F-35 SE.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver and sustain the F-35 SE to support F-35 fleet readiness through oversight and management of SE requirements, allocations, fielding, distribution, and global sustainment
  • Provide overall management and distribution of all F-35 SE in accordance with published Business Rules and Standard Operating Instructions (SOI) that govern sustainment of the F-35 fleet
  • Manage F-35 SE requirements definition, sustainment engineering, and logistics support
  • Identify SE requirements, perform gap analyses, and develop plans to address the identified gaps and ensure all contracted SE is delivered within the specified time frame
  • Analyze F-35 SE redistribution request and requirements and recommend the most effective and efficient solution based on the current fielding posture at all sites, expected deliveries, and ongoing depot repair actions
  • Serve as a member of the Joint Fleet Management Working Group and participate in Lightning II Support Equipment Management System (LSEMS) reviews
  • Coordinate with the Participant Service Support Equipment Controlling Authority (SECA) or the Product Support Integrator to provide direction for all Intra-SECA (within Service) SE transfers and ensure the transfers are reported
  • Provide project status reports
  • Identify and integrate significant internal/external policy issues affecting the SE team and its projects

Requirements
  • SECRET Clearance with eligibility for SAR
  • BA/BS degree (An additional four (4) years of directly related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree)
  • Eight (8) years combined experience in weapon systems program management and/or logistics management
  • Experience utilizing Support Equipment Asset Management Systems
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written), briefing skills, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Program Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Project)
