Job Description
Ennoble First is seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to support software development activities within the NextGen OPIR Ground Solution. This role is responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software while ensuring compliance with industry best practices and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have expertise in DevSecOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud computing, and software automation to enable efficient and secure software development lifecycle operations.
This position requires a highly collaborative individual who can work across multiple security domains while supporting the automation, integration, and deployment of software solutions. The candidate should be well-versed in modern software development methodologies and cloud infrastructure while maintaining software security standards.

Job Description

The candidate should be well-versed in modern software development methodologies and cloud infrastructure while maintaining software security standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps, deployment, and automation efforts to support the NextGen OPIR Ground Solution.
- Implement and maintain DevSecOps/CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes.
- Develop and enhance infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, HEAT, or CloudFormation.
- Optimize and maintain cloud-based environments across AWS, Azure, OpenStack, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Configure and manage configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SALT.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless software integration, security, and compliance.
- Apply agile methodologies to support iterative software development and deployment.
- Work within multiple security domains to support secure software operations (NIPRnet/Xenon, SIPRnet, JWICS).
- Troubleshoot and resolve software and security issues related to CI/CD pipeline, automation, and cloud deployments.
Minimum Education/Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 9+ years of experience, OR an advanced degree with 7+ years of experience.
- Active Secret security clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.
- Expertise in DevSecOps/CI/CD full pipeline tools implementation.
- Strong experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SALT).
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, HEAT, CloudFormation).
- Proficiency in AWS, Azure, OpenStack, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience working with RedHat Linux environments.
- Strong scripting skills with Ansible/Ansible Tower.
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, distributed systems, and multi-threaded applications.
- Security+ (Sec+) Certification required.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Hashicorp Vault and Hashicorp Boundary.
- Familiarity with JFrog Artifactory / Sonatype Nexus.
- Hands-on experience with Dynamic Application Scanning (DAST).
- Proficiency in Selenium and Sikuli for test automation.
- Knowledge of Cucumber Gherkin testing frameworks.
