This position focuses on maintaining and securing classified systems within SCIFs, making it critical for candidates to have a strong IT security, compliance, and contingency planning background.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Desktop Support: Support users within Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs) on unclassified and classified networks across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) areas.
- Security Measures: Ensuring the security of IT equipment within SCIFs, managing the documentation of equipment and media entering and leaving the SCIFs.
- Continuity of Operations (COOP/COG): Participating in activities to ensure rapid response and recovery from catastrophic emergencies, including exercises for Continuity of Operations (COOP) and Continuity of Government (COG).
- Security Oversight and Compliance: Assisting the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) with oversight and compliance related tasks.
- Incident Management and Security Architecture: Supporting security incident management and aiding in the design and documentation of security architecture.
- Contingency Planning: Assisting in the development and documentation of contingency plans, disaster recovery (DR) plans, and Continuity of Operations (CONOPS) plans.
Qualifications:
- Active Top Secret (TS) Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
- Certifications: You must possess certifications such as Network+, Security+, CASP, GSEC, GSLC, CISSP, CEH, CISM, or CISA.
- Experience:
- At least three years of specialized experience in roles such as Information Systems Security Officer, Information Systems Security Engineer, or Facility Security Manager.
- At least three years of experience in analyzing, assessing, and implementing corrective actions based on vulnerability management tools.
- Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating environment with administrator-level access.
