TIAG is now hiring a Cleared Cloud Engineer to join our team in San Diego, CA supporting the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific. Candidates must possess and active clearance to be considered, so must be a U.S. or Naturalized Citizen to be considered. This work is 100% remote, with location near San Diego, CA preferred.
The Cloud Engineer will work with our team supporting NIWC PAC utilizing OSA tools to configure and manage AWS environments.

Pay Range: $110,000 - $140,000 per year
The Cloud Engineer will work with our team supporting NIWC PAC utilizing OSA tools to configure and manage AWS environments.
Responsibilities will include:
- Conducting migration efforts of AWS based environments
- Deprecating unnecessary resources such as snapshots, volumes, etc.
- Manage and monitor resources such as VPCs, instances, snapshots, volumes, etc.
- Execute deployment process using scripts and/or manual steps (CI/CDs)
- Identify and address deployment failures. Utilize logging and diagnostic tools to pinpoint root causes
- Execute baseline BTFs to validate environmental functionality
- Utilize Ansible to input variables properly, read through playbooks and ensure its compatibility, troubleshooting errors/issues and validate services/application after successful playbook run
- Backup finalized environments for future deployment
- Communicating effectively with technical team members, content subject matter experts, and customers
- Supporting assigned projects ensuring quality delivery, identifying risks, and escalating issues
- Maintaining awareness of new and emerging technologies and the potential application on client engagements
- Conducting environment demonstrations and troubleshooting with customers of various technical expertise
- Participating in Scrum/Agile team and software development and delivery
- Trouble ticket submission and resolution
- Updating of Confluence pages and JIRA boards
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions with teams
Required Quals/Experience:
- Secret Clearance
- Security+ Certification
- Windows or Linux OS cert
- VMWare - Cloud Services Solutions, CompTIA - Cloud+, ISC2 - Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)
- 3+ years of experience fielding environments with AWS Services including EC2, S3, VPC, AWS CLI, Eventbridge, etc
- Experience using/creating/modifying Ansible playbooks
- Experience developing/fielding applications using Agile Core Services (ACS)
- Experience using OSA tools (Confluence/Jira/Jira Service Management)
- Excellent team collaboration skills and ability to tailor communication style to support audience engagement and understanding
- Experience managing Windows Server 2020/2022 (AD/DNS/RDP/Powershell/etc.)
- Experience managing RHEL 7/8/9
- Experience with Red Hat Build of Keycloak (RHBK) or related SSO products
- Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Understanding of databases, SQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.
- Experience with Cyber Security practices and STIGs.
- BS degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, or Computer Science
