Overview
Delaware Nation Investments/Emerging Technologies is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Network Administrator to join our team. We work with the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) located at Tinker AFB, Hill AFB, Robins AFB, and Wright Patterson AFB Advisory & Assistance for cybersecurity, network operations, and system administration for specified informational technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) within the Industrial Depot Maintenance (IDM) and Depot Support Services (DSS) authorizing official (AO) boundary. Network Operations support will include design, implement, and maintain OT networks and connected devices at Tinker, Hill and Robins Air Force bases. Cybersecurity effort will utilize the Risk Management Framework (RMF) per DoDI 8510.01, RMF for DoD Information, AFI 17-101, and RMF for Air Force Information Technology (IT), support AFSC in maintaining RMF compliance under AO guidance and acceptance of risk.
Ability to obtain a security clearance is REQUIRED.
A Security+ Certification is REQUIRED.
This position is 100% onsite.

Responsibilities

- Configure and troubleshoot OSPF (Open Shortest Path First) in single and multi-area topologies
- Configure and troubleshoot BGP (Border Gateway Protocol) for enterprise and service provider environments
- Implement route redistribution between different routing protocols
- Implement and optimize policy-based routing (PBR)
- Use route summarization and filtering techniques (prefix lists, route maps, distribute lists)
- Implement and troubleshoot VLANs, trunking (802.1Q), and VLAN Trunking Protocol (VTP)
- Configure and troubleshoot EtherChannel (LACP & PAgP)
- Implement Spanning Tree Protocol (STP, RSTP, MSTP) for loop prevention
- Implement and troubleshoot AAA (Authentication, Authorization, and Accounting) with TACACS+/RADIUS
- Configure Control Plane Policing (CoPP) to protect against control-plane attacks
- Implement DHCP snooping, Dynamic ARP Inspection (DAI), and Port Security
- Configure Access Control Lists (ACLs) for traffic filtering and security policies
- Secure routing protocols with authentication (MD5, SHA)
- Configure First-Hop Redundancy Protocols (HSRP, VRRP, GLBP)
- Configure and troubleshoot Network Address Translation (NAT)
- Configure DHCP relay and snooping
- Implement Quality of Service (QoS) (classification, marking, policing, shaping, congestion management)
- Understand NETCONF, RESTCONF, and YANG models for automation
- Use Python, Ansible, or Cisco DNA Center for network automation
- Perform SNMP monitoring and Syslog configuration
- Implement SPAN/RSPAN/ERSPAN for traffic monitoring and analysis
- Utilize Cisco IOS troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, debug, show commands)
- Identify and resolve routing loops, black holes, and asymmetric routing issues
- Diagnose STP issues (root bridge placement, topology changes)
- Use Wireshark or Cisco Embedded Packet Capture (EPC) for packet analysis
- Troubleshoot MTU, fragmentation, and TCP/UDP issues
- Configure GRE/IPsec tunnels and DMVPN (Dynamic Multipoint VPN)
- Implement and troubleshoot Multicast (PIM Sparse/Dense Mode, IGMP, RP configuration)
- Configure VRF-lite for network segmentation
- Understand Cisco IOS and IOS-XE software licensing models
- Configure and upgrade Cisco Catalyst and ISR routers
- Perform device recovery (password recovery, ROMMON mode boot)
Qualifications
- 5-7 years Network Administrator experience
- Extensive experience with Cisco, BGP, and VLAN's
- Familiarity with AFI 17-101 and Air Force Information Technology RMF is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
