Overview
BlueWater Federal is looking for a Data Analyst to support CENTCOM. The Data Analyst will have experience as a mid-level subject matter expert in data analysis in a Military, Federal Government, and/or Intelligence Community organization with a demonstratable history of data analysis, data process mapping, policy development to operationalize data, and identification and addressing gaps / limitations in policy that prevent / deter the operationalization of data.

BlueWater Federal is looking for a Data Analyst to support CENTCOM. The Data Analyst will have experience as a mid-level subject matter expert in data analysis in a Military, Federal Government, and/or Intelligence Community organization with a demonstratable history of data analysis, data process mapping, policy development to operationalize data, and identification and addressing gaps / limitations in policy that prevent / deter the operationalization of data.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for performing data analysis of structured and unstructured data using various techniques, e.g., statistical analysis, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining.
- Determine best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current operations or issues.
- Work closely with the internal or external clients to identify analytical requirements.
- May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture operational information.
- Support all US/Coalition exercise and operational Data Modernization requirements.
Qualifications
- Active TS clearance and SCI eligibility; be able to securely handle/safeguard classified information
- Education or training in Data Management/Science/Analytics, Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related fields
- 3+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with data normalization, mining/aggregation, and visualization
- Experience with operational dashboard design, development, and use
- Highly experienced with Microsoft Office O365 products; excellent writing/briefing skills
- Must be available for travel to both domestic and international locations (CENTCOM AOR); no combat zone travel is authorized on this contract
Desired Skills:
- Experience with / knowledge of databases such as, TSQL, MySQL, Oracle, PostGres, etc.
- Experience with / knowledge of analytical tools such as, Jupyter Notebooks, Databricks, Qlik, Palantir Foundry, Tableau, and other platforms
- Experience with / knowledge of computer coding / languages such as, Python, Ruby, R, Java, Scala, Rust, etc.
