Tableau Administrator/Data Visualization

Job Description:

We are looking for highly energetic, TS-SCI cleared, IT professionals who are interested in joining our seasoned team of technologists. We are focused on driving significant enhancements in the efficiency and effectiveness of enterprise-wide IT operations and performing routine O&M for an IC agency. The program itself supports a broad range of IT enterprise services for end-users around the globe, with smaller project teams that focus on particular areas (i.e. Platform as a Service, Application Services, Cloud Computing, High Performance Computing, API Management, etc.). We are looking for hands-on professionals, team players, and engaged individuals who enjoy keeping up with the latest tech stacks and technology trends. We have positions open at all levels and in multiple geographies.

Basic Qualifications:

• TS/SCI clearance w/ CI poly
• You must meet one of the below combinations of education and RELEVANT experience to be considered

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Configure and maintain Tableau Server Software Layer and System Administration (includes site creation, server maintenance/upgrades/patches).
• Work with management to develop sustainable processes to govern the continued rollout of the Tableau toolset.
• Change management including software, hardware upgrades, patches.
• Monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements.
• Performance tuning/server management of Tableau server environment (clustering, load balancing).
• Facilitate change and innovation to legacy systems and processes.
• Utilize expertise in information visualization and design to create and deploy new platforms and services for visualization initiatives.
• Create/manage groups, workbooks and projects, database views, data sources, and data connections.
• Manage and support migration of objects (dimensions, measures, hierarchies, reports, workbooks, dashboards) from development to production environments.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience.
• Assisting in the documentation of requirements and specifications.
• Developing required Tableau content reports and dashboards.
• Providing appropriate training and support to business users on the use of Tableau interactive web reports and Tableau Desktop.
• Providing hands-on training to a small subset of reporting individuals on a sustained basis with the intent to transfer report/dashboard development experience.
• API development experience to assist in the development and deployment of custom Tableau extensions.
• Must have a Secret clearance and/or be eligible for TS/SCI clearance.
