Responsibilities

Arcfield is growing and seeking a Systems Engineer Senior Technical Specialist to support Strategy Development for their customer's COMM Directorate. The ideal candidate for this position will be able to lead an organization in determining how to use its resources and people to define and achieve its goal. (Please note, an offer for this position will be contingent on an awarded contract.)

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Support Office, Group, Directorate, and/or Chief Information Officer (CIO) strategy development, as required

• Develop and coordinate strategic plans, proposals, initiatives, etc., with necessary stakeholders, and product and process owners

• Support the development of metrics, measures, and milestones, integrating strategic objectives into operational and tactical actions

• Develop, receive approval of, execute and manage functional program plans, schedules, and/or technical procedures aligned to strategy, priorities, and/or goals and objectives

Qualifications

Required:

• BS 12-15, MS 10-13, PhD 10+
• Must possess and have the ability to maintain an Active Top Secret / SCI w/Poly Clearance

• Bachelor's degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

• Outstanding customer intimacy skills; ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams as well as to interface effectively with personnel at all levels of government

• A commitment to quality, accuracy, continuous improvement, and be detailed oriented

• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple tasks concurrently

• Strong communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical audiences

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

• Demonstrated judgment, initiative, and critical thinking to execute mission objectives

• The ability to travel as necessary to satisfy assigned tasks

• Be comfortable and flexible with executing additional duties as assigned

• Demonstrated ability to use a holistic approach to, design, develop, evaluate and modify end-to-end systems and systems-oriented products through their entire life cycle.

• Experience ensuring that requirements comply with client requirements and government standards through formal verification methods.

• Previous expertise acting as a customer liaison demonstrating support for business development activities and understands requirements.

• Past experience with IT-IA-IM

Desired:

• Advanced degrees or certifications in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics

• Experience designing, researching and developing highly advanced applications, which may result in new product/business opportunities for the company

• Past experience supporting the Federal Government/IC
