I2X Technologies is seeking a ServiceNow Trainer to support ongoing activities for a customer in Fort Meade, Maryland . This position will be on-site and will require an active Secret clearance.

Candidate must be able to be on site at Fort Meade daily. At a minimum, a Secret clearance is required upon the start of employment.

As a ServiceNow Trainer they are responsible for planning, developing and delivering demonstrations of the ServiceNow functionality of the technical products or solutions. Duties may include analyzing and preparing marketing material, preparing demonstration wireframes, identify and prepare outlines for each demonstration. May also evaluate efficacy of marketing material, provide demonstration agendas and qualify those that will participate for content delivery.

  • Works to achieve key project/program objectives and deliverables.
  • Responsible for understanding entire projects or processes spanning multiple technical areas.
  • Communicates with internal team members across multiple areas and client team members.
  • Effectively communicates with the customer and external parties external.
  • Develops marketing material to include but not limited to demo videos, marketing slicks, etc.
  • Actively engages with the project team to know and understand the work being developed throughout each sprint
  • Participates in scrum team ceremonies
  • Leads demonstration sessions among the Government community
  • Articulate in messaging functional and technical ServiceNow products and solutions
  • Prepares demonstration presentations and documentation on a consistent basis
  • Conducts dress rehearsal demonstrations prior to conducting demonstrations to the larger Government community
  • Assists the team developing and establishing demonstration material for new team members
  • Tracks and manages demo documentation within Atlassian's Jira and Confluence tools


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 4 - 8 years of professional experience; or 2 -6 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Additional experience may be excepted in lieu of degree
  • The qualified candidate shall have excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently, prioritize, schedule, and complete multiple tasks.
  • Ability to multi-task and self-assign work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills that enable proactive and effective collaboration with a virtual team, including the ability to clearly articulate status and present to both customers and program leadership.
  • Candidate must have the ability to develop and present management level briefings.
  • Demonstrates potential and willingness to learn and adapt to rapid changes in technology.
  • Previous experience creating and developing demonstration materiel, leading demonstrations, presenting in front of the customer, possesses strong technical and functional knowledge
  • Experience with the ServiceNow application
  • Experience or familiarity with agile development
  • Exposure to ServiceNow applications like Telecommunication Management System (TSM), Telecommunications Network Inventory (TNI), Order Management Telecommunications (OMT) modules, etc.
  • Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
  • Understanding of ITIL foundation or ITIL certified.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline
  • Experience working with large software systems including hardware integration and test.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary technical development teams.
  • Experience moving from a legacy application to a new application.

Essential Requirements:

US Citizenship is required.

DoD Active Secret Clearance is required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to work station. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
