Job Description
The mission of CJTF-OIR (CISSC), by, with and through regional partners, is to militarily defeat the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in the Combined Joint Operations Area in order to enable whole-of-coalition governmental actions to increase regional stability. The Coalition strategy acknowledges that the best forces to win the fight against ISIL are local, indigenous forces such as the Government of Iraq (GoI) Iraqi Security Forces (ISS), and the Kurdish Peshmerga. In Syria, the Coalition continues to search for viable partners in opposition forces focused on fighting ISIL.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education: Associate degree or higher in Information Technology field
- Experience: Four (4) years of hands-on experience in technical forensic extraction and analysis using commercially available software operating on a Windows Operations System file structure
- Active Secret clearance
- Competency using various audio/video extraction and editing software solutions in tandem with understanding the common media formats such as WMA, WMV, AVI, MPEG, WAV, MP3, and RM including conversion and various CODECs
- Competency regarding forensic biometric operations and exploiting digital biometrics including facial and voice biometric modalities, accept additional in-theater training with CJTF-OIR specific biometric activities
- Competency regarding performing analog-to-digital format conversion to .wav, .mp3, and .wma formats
- Competency regarding utilizing various programs to convert VHS, VHS-C, Betamax, Beta SP, Beta ¾, and HI-8 into DVD, VCD, and/or AVI type files into command directed digital formats in order to upload to the designated server, exploiting all the digital signatures including biometrics
- Competency with extracting particular details from the exploited media including digital and human perceptible signatures resulting in potential personality or network attribution.
- Competency with conducting match analysis, and producing post-match reports regarding the biometric and technical signature attribution
- Competency with performing network analysis from the exploited media including associating technical and biometric connections between discovered personalities and technical nodes
- Strong writing and presentation-building skills utilizing MS Office Suite
- Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate complex information and analysis of discovered personalities, signature, connections, and networks, as applicable
