5G Solutions Architect

Key Role :

Design architectural roadmaps for enterprise architecture ( EA ) , in accordance with enterprise strategies and EA processes, while analyzing client requirements and collaborating with R & D divisions to provide ongoing support. Apply advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction and mentor and supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience with mobile wireless 4G and 5G communications as a solutions architect designing, implementing, or managing core networks
• 5+ years of experience with developing strategy and analysis, including white papers, study reports, concepts of operations ( CONOPS ) , or strategic roadmaps
• Knowledge of 5G core network specifications, solutions, and operations
• Knowledge of Multi-Access Edge Computing ( MEC ) implementation and usage
• Knowledge of 3GPP standards, Open RAN, network protocols, procedures, implementation, and call flows
• Ability to be a self-starter and work independently, readily communicate, coordinate, and consult with greater internal and client teams to drive solutions towards completion and implementation
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree

Additional Qualifications :

• Experience analyzing DoD vision, strategy, or similar high-level guidance documents to develop requirements for engineering systems or organizational processes
• Experience in integrating solutions with commer cia l terrestrial cellular networks and commer cia l satellite communications networks
• Ability to regularly monitor telecommunications and 5G or 6G industry and vendor landscape
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills to develop technical briefs and convey complex technical topics to a varying audience
• Possession of strong consult ing skills to facilitate and moderate meetings to storyboard, decompose requirements, development business and use cases, and develop solution strategy
• Secret clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $84,600.00 to $193,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
