Overview:
BlueHalo is seeking an INTEL Targeting Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert in targeting and intelligence analysis. In this role, you will provide analysis of all-source data for multi-intelligence program objectives and lead research of all-source data. You will lead a team of dedicated intelligence targeting analysts in the operation and use of intelligence tools and data analysis to achieve program imperatives. Experience and training in one or more areas of; threat analysis, foreign intelligence, counterintelligence, operations, and investigations are highly desirable.

- Operational Area Management: Oversee and analyze a broad operational theater, utilizing a variety of intelligence disciplines to gain situational awareness and deliver comprehensive assessments of the operational environment. Review operational traffic for intelligence leads.
- Impact Analysis: Evaluate and forecast second- and third-order effects of operational decisions, tactical actions, and political developments to understand their potential impact on mission success, allied forces, and broader strategic objectives.
- Intelligence Production: Develop and produce high-quality intelligence products, including reports, briefings, assessments, and situational updates, tailored to the needs of senior leadership, operational commanders, and policymakers. Draft comprehensive targeting packages in support of the customer objectives.
- Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other intelligence professionals, military personnel, and external stakeholders, to provide integrated intelligence support across a wide range of operational domains. Engage operational components within the customer organization to address targeting requirements and develop new leads for operational exploitation.
- Crisis Response & Adaptability: Respond rapidly to changing operational conditions and emerging intelligence requirements, adjusting analysis and recommendations as new information becomes available.
- Strategic Guidance: Advise leadership on potential risks, opportunities, and contingencies, and contribute to the development of mission strategies and operational plans. Conduct detailed searches on targets of operational interest and relay pertinent data to relevant customer components.
- Mentorship and Leadership: Provide guidance, mentoring, and support to junior intelligence analysts, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and knowledge sharing.
You're required to have this:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Intelligence Studies, International Relations, Political Science, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in intelligence analysis, with a focus on managing large-scale operational areas and understanding the complexities of second- and third-order effects in a defense or national security context.
- Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance required. With polygraph is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with intelligence tools, databases, and analysis platforms. Familiarity with current geopolitical trends, emerging threats, and regional dynamics.
- Analytical Expertise: Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to synthesize large volumes of information from diverse sources (HUMINT, SIGINT, IMINT, OSINT, etc.).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses to non-expert audiences and senior leaders.
- Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, including military, civilian, and intelligence professionals.
