Description
acuCyber is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join our team and help meet the challenging needs of our clients.
Education:
Experience:
Ten (10) years of notable experience preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements. Experience may include plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network; assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies; ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure; and respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
Certification(s):
Minimum DoD 8570.1M IAT or IAM Level 1 certified which includes A+ CE, CCNA Security, Network+ CE, SSCP, CAP, GSLC, Security+ CE

Education:
- Maters Degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and
Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8570.1M.
