Ventus Executive Solutions (VES) is seeking a skilled Senior Configuration Management (CM) and Integrated Logistics Support Specialist (ILS) to support an innovative program. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Navy submarine programs, ensuring compliance with Navy Configuration Management policies while driving operational efficiency and accuracy. Travel: 10-20 %
Required Experience:
• 10+ years of experience in CM and ILS with a strong background in Navy submarine programs
• Expert in Engineering Change Management (ECIs), Temporary Engineering Change Instructions (TECIs), Change Proposals (CPs), and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
• Strong working knowledge of Navy Data Environment (NDE), Configuration Data Manager’s Database-Open Architecture (CDMD-OA), and ILS Certification processes
• Proven ability to analyze, assess, and mitigate risks in submarine installations and system upgrades
• Proficiency in tracking and managing Allowance Parts Lists (APLs), ILS Certifications, and installation documentation
• Extensive experience coordinating with government agencies, program sponsors, and technical stakeholders
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to oversee and mentor junior CM/ILS specialists
• Able to interpret technical documentation, including Interface Design Documents, System Specifications, and Engineering Change Directives

Desired Experience:
• Experience supporting AN/BYG-1 CM submarine systems and currently working in fielded submarine programs
• Background in system testing, verification, and validation within a CM/ILS framework.
• Familiarity with Navy configuration control processes and lifecycle sustainment planning
