Job Summary:
We are seeking a Junior CAD Modeler to support our [engineering/design/technical] team in developing precise 2D and 3D models. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of CAD software and the ability to interpret technical drawings. Responsibilities:
· Create and modify 2D and 3D CAD models based on engineering specifications
· Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
· Collaborate with engineers and designers to refine models
· Experience with CAD software, e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, CATIA
· Basic understanding of engineering drawings and design principles
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
· Experience with manufacturing processes, 3D printing, or GIS mapping is a plus
Qualifications:
· Associate’s degree or certification in CAD, Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· Experience with CAD software, e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, CATIA
· Basic understanding of engineering drawings and design principles
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
· Experience with manufacturing processes, 3D printing, or GIS mapping is a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
· Prior experience in aerospace, defense, satellite design
· Exposure to 3D rendering or simulation tools
· Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
