Position Overview:

SHR Consulting Group is seeking a Mid Systems Engineer with a strong background in Identity and Credential Access Management (ICAM). In this role, you will play a strategic and advisory role in evaluating, identifying, and mitigating potential ICAM-related issues. This position does not involve direct implementation but rather focuses on assessing technical risks, creating strategic roadmaps, and collaborating with an external integrator to ensure the success of an ongoing identity management integration effort.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with Active Directory (AD), Keycloak, and other identity management platforms and should be comfortable working in complex environments with significant technical debt.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct "sniff tests" to identify and mitigate technical issues related to ICAM and identity management systems
• Perform high-level strategic planning, including creating a two-year roadmap and identifying potential blockers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the integrator to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Assess and provide guidance on transitioning to DISA's enterprise identity management solution (preferred experience).
• Evaluate and analyze the current state of identity management, including Active Directory (AD), additional identity platforms, and an extensive group structure (95,000+ groups).
• Provide technical recommendations and risk assessments without being directly responsible for implementation.
• Work within a high-tech debt environment and help streamline identity and credential access solutions.

Skill Requirements:

• Technical Expertise: Strong technical background in ICAM, Active Directory, Keycloak, and related identity management platforms.
• Problem Solving: Experience in assessing and mitigating technical challenges in complex IT environments.
• Project Planning: Project management experience, with the ability to develop strategic roadmaps and anticipate project blockers (PMP not required).
• DISA Experience: Familiarity with DISA enterprise identity management solutions is highly desirable.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with external integrators while ensuring project alignment and risk mitigation.
• Platforms: Comfortable working in a high-tech debt environment with multiple legacy identity platforms.
• Communication: Ability to communicate technical challenges to stakeholders and propose practical solutions.
