SAIC has an immediate opening for a Provisioner and S enior Logistics Analyst to support life cycle maintenance and integrated logistics product development for the US Navy. This role is onsite in San Diego, CA. MUST BE LOCAL.
JOB DUTIES:
- Provide life cycle support for US Navy systems and provisioning of parts and Lowest Replaceable Units (LRUs) using the Interactive Computer Aided Provisioning System (ICAPS) database and Model-Based Product Support (MBPS).
- Involves direct contact with customers and fleet users and demands performance that is both detail oriented and time critical.
- Will be utilizing US Navy and Department of Defense Logistics Systems.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's and six (6) years or more or related experience in defense life cycle (acquisition) logistics support of electronic systems,
to include: logistics principles, practices, and processes. One (1) year of experience in support of C4ISR systems. - Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have an Active Secret Clearance to start.
- Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance after start
- Demonstrated skills in Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, and Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures.
DESIRED SKILLS:
- Possess a comprehensive working knowledge of US Navy and Department of Defense logistics systems.
- Possess a thorough knowledge and documented use of software systems/databases used for logistics support of US Navy material.
- Ability to interpret Installation Design Plans (IDPs), Installation Requirements Drawings (IRDs), and Bills of Material (BOMs).
- Ability to exercise independent judgment while working on multiple projects of diverse scope will be key to successful performance of the task requirements associated with this position.
