Required Education: Journeyman - BA/BS degree.
Required Experience: Journeyman - 3 to 10 years of experience performing duties described in the functional description. At least three (3) years of experience in a communication or writing field is required.
Desired Experience: Exposure to media relations and working in or knowledge of Naval aviation acquisition environment is desired. Command of writing stories, captions and other products in Associated Press style is desired. Experience in creating and executing internal or externally focused mass communications plans is desired. Competent in working in Windows, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Adobe computing environment.
Functional Description: Engage in promoting or creating an intended public image for individuals, groups, or organizations. May write or select material for release to various communications media.
