Job Overview

Your primary focus will be to lead the development of PNT simulation software, driving innovation, ensuring product quality, and meeting customer expectations. In this player/coach role, you will architect (and sometimes implement) software, manage software development projects, while working with cross-functional teams and engineering services partners to deliver first-to-market solutions.
Job Responsibilities
• Work closely with business development managers, product managers and solution architects to define and implement test solutions for developers and system integrators of PNT and Navigation Warfare (NAVWAR) systems.
• Lead the architecture and development of PNT test simulation software and systems, assess project scope and resource requirements, develop and track project schedules. As required, take part in software coding.
• Mentor and coach project team members.
• Manage interface with engineering services partners.
• Ensure product quality through vigorous product validation

Job Requirements

• Strong customer focus with a keen interest in problem-solving and developing innovative first-of-their kind technical solutions.
• Leadership experience, managing teams and driving successful projects.
• Expert technical acumen, with expertise in software architecture and design, including user interfaces.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with C++ and Python coding.
• Previous experience in development of RF test simulation and test automation software highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university required.

Clearance

• US citizen with Secret or Top Secret Clearance. Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain one
and maintain it at all times during employment.

Spirent Federal applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience at or in line with the minimum requirements.
