OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) Architect
We are seeking an OCP Architect with expertise in Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform 4 to lead solutions for small teams, collaborate with client architects, and contribute to technical strategy. This role plays a key part in modern cloud platform consulting engagements, shaping deployment strategies, and influencing project outcomes.
This is an on-site position in Texas with a potential for hybrid work in the future. TS/SCI with FS Poly clearance is required.
What You'll Be Doing:
•Serve as a solution lead, guiding teams in delivering standard solutions.
•Influence client architects, technical contributors, and project managers to align with best practices.
•Develop processes, concepts, and technical strategies for pre-sales and service delivery.
•Work within Red Hat Services Solutions, expanding technical expertise in OpenShift and container platforms.
•Maintain strong connections with Red Hat teams and contribute to cross-functional collaboration.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
•TS/SCI with FS Poly clearance (mandatory)
•Security+ certification or any certification listed under IAT Level II
•Experience delivering modern cloud platform consulting engagements
•Linux system administration experience (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux - RHEL)
•Hands-on experience with source code management tools (such as GitLab)
•Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible
•Strong understanding of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and enterprise cloud solutions
•Experience with container technologies such as Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes
•Basic knowledge of networking principles (TCP, DNS, DHCP, IPs)
•Experience with Red Hat Identity Management (IdM)
Additional Skills That Would Be a Plus:
•DevOps expertise
•Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
•Ability to influence technical roadmaps and architecture decisions
