Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Deputy Director - ICBM Sustainment. This position will be located in Roy, UT and will support the ICBM Sustainment Business unit as the Deputy Director and as the Ground Subsystem Support Contract (GSSC) II Program Manager.
Primary responsibilities are to direct the establishment and maintenance all of the GSSC II IPT operations to execute the management of cost, schedule, and technical performance and includes, but is not limited to:

This position's standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

What You'll Get To Do:
- Direct, manage and report technical, cost and schedule performance for the ICBM Sustainment Enterprise
- Presentations to senior Air Force customers, executive management and other program stakeholders
- Leading role on the negotiation of contracts, contract changes, specifications, operating budgets, schedule milestones, and key terms and conditions
- Management of 300+ direct and enabling function team members
- Oversight for Ground Subsystems Support Contract (GSSC II) Programs/Task Orders
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the Minuteman III Weapon System
- Development and adherence to budget baselines utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM)
- Identifying, allocating and managing program resources, including workforce planning
- Managing Government/customer supplied property or information (GFE, CFE, etc.)
- Critical supplier oversight to meet program objectives
- Adherence to all internal processes, policies, and applicable industry standards
- Development and adherence to master plans and schedules
- Conducting thorough risk & opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization
- Creation and implementation of strategy for growth

You'll Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of experience supporting U.S. government contracts and customers and/or project management in other industries
- 5 years in a leadership role
- Experience leading the performance of tasks on schedule, at cost and achieving all requirements as either project lead, integrated program team or cost account manager
- Experience leading large, diversely skilled teams/and or organizations to achieve a common goal
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
- Operational Minuteman III Experience (civilian or military Combat Crew, Missile Maintenance, Numbered AF, MAJCOM) or heritage ICBM programs, specifically Ground
- Systems related
- Prior successful experience managing profit and loss on large programs
- Prior experience interfacing with prime contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnel
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively work within a team environment
- Active TS clearance within the past 5 years
