This position supports the B-21 Raider, the world's first sixth-generation aircraft. When it comes to delivering America's resolve, the Raider provides the Air Force with long range, high survivability and mission payload flexibility. The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, collaborative/team settings across all levels. This role is a vital member of the leadership team, which by nature of the position involves high-level contacts and exposure to sensitive programs, new business, personnel, and technical information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion, and judgment.
This position is key member of the Business Area leadership team responsible for effective program execution. This position directly supports the Business Area Program Manager and often serves as the key interface of the Program Management Office and the broader program team and other internal and external stakeholders. Daily responsibilities include managing the strategic rhythm of the Business Area, ensuring timely delivery of requirements to support internal and external stakeholders, support to priority and executive level and customer briefings, risk/issue/opportunity management, and process ownership consistent with Enterprise and Sector/Corporate operating requirements. This role needs to manage a complex team, directly and indirectly, through efficient and timely communication across the program execution team. This position is also responsible for direct line of leadership for a team of project management personnel to include performance management, staffing, career development/planning and engagement.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and 10 years' experience in project and/or program management or a Master's degree and 8 years' experience in project and/or program management
- Knowledge & experience measuring performance using EVMS processes and reporting EVMS metrics
- Strong communication and team management credentials
- Experience managing projects
- Must have In-Scope DoD Secret clearance last investigated within 6 years or enrolled in continuous evaluation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within reasonable time
- Must have prior management / leadership experience

- Demonstrated understanding of program risk, opportunity and issue management process
- Ability to effectively operate within high business optempo
- Experience working with a matrix or homeroom environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting and influencing senior executives
