TITLE: Systems Engineer with ACTIVE TS/SCI
CLEARANCE: Active Top Secret/SCI Security Clearance REQUIRED at the time of hire
RATE RANGE: $60/hr - $66/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
LOCATION: Onsite in Aurora, CO 80011
DURATION: 12+ months or Contract to Hire

We have an exciting opportunity for a Systems Engineer supporting one of our premier programs in the business unit, where your knowledge with regards to clarification of requirements, system engineering analyses, algorithm development, requirements definition and derivation, interface definition, and requirement validation and verification will be put to good use. This work will be on-site in either our Aurora, CO or Richardson, TX campuses.
RESPONSIBILITIES
* Provide technical analyses and define how the system works creating use cases
* Decompose requirements, define system interfaces and help determine how requirements will be validated and verified by the test team
* Provide engineering support and technical direction for the execution of a portion of the programs test program including test processes and baseline definition, test architecture design, verification, and validation
* Support regression testing across deliverable releases to the program baseline.
* Support and attend technical reviews and technical interchanges in support of the program
REQUIREMENTS
Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum 2+ years of prior relevant experience
Active and transferable Top Secret / SCI Security Clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Systems Engineering lifecycle experience with roles and functions, along with specific experience in one or more of the following areas: operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis/synthesis, interface definition and control, and/or verification and validation
Development experience on a government contract
Experience with Agile and DevSecOps development methods
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
PREFERRED SKILLS
Good oral and written communication skills as well as good collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team environment
Experience in Satellite Command/Control, Mission Management or Planning
Experience with Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.)
Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements databases
Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps in an Agile development environment
Scripting knowledge (eg: Python)
Bachelor Degree Required? Preferred
