ASRC Federal Broadleaf Division is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator - Lead (LINUX) to join our Command-and-Control Support Agency (CCSA) Technical Services Division (TSD) support team.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully leading multiple projects and departments, and will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience with LINUX administration for the US Army and on Command and Control (C2) systems is desired.
- The Systems Administrator - Lead (LINUX) shall possess extensive knowledge of IT networking, hardware, firmware, application software, operating system software, and database management systems (DBMS).
- This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and help create innovative solutions.
- The roles and responsibilities of a Systems Administrator - Lead (LINUX) include Installing, configuring, and tuning Operating Systems.
- Troubleshooting operating systems, applications, databases, email systems, and complex data interface issues.
- Managing Linux systems hosted in a complex, multi-layered network. Monitoring and intrusion/penetration detection and alert notification
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- A t least Five ( 5+ ) years of experience in working in Information Technology, last seven must be in LINUX/UNIX System Administration.
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of.
- DoD Top-Secret with SCI eligibility required at time of onboarding.
- IAT Level III certification required at time of onboarding.
- Knowledge and experience with current IA and IT Security control implementation procedures.
- SAN experience, to include enterprise backup solutions and fault tolerant technologies.
WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- This role will be full-time on-site at the Pentagon
