Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to identify, analyze, and mitigate
security vulnerabilities across our network, applications, and databases. This role involves
designing and implementing industry-leading security standards, investigating emerging threats,
and recommending security technologies to enhance our overall cybersecurity posture. The
ideal candidate will work independently on complex security projects and provide expert
consultation on security issues.
Key Responsibilities:
● Identify potential security vulnerabilities in applications, networks, and databases,
recommending and implementing mitigation strategies.
● Design, implement, and maintain information security standards to safeguard systems
and data integrity.
● Conduct security analysis and investigations, staying up-to-date with evolving cyber
threats, including malware and other internet security risks.
● Develop and implement security controls, risk management frameworks, and best
practices in alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
● Provide consultation and guidance on security issues to internal teams, including IT,
software development, and leadership.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are integrated
into application development, infrastructure, and operations.
● Monitor and respond to security incidents, including intrusion detection and incident
response.
● Lead the evaluation and deployment of security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS,
SIEM, endpoint protection, and threat intelligence platforms.
● Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including NIST, ISO 27001,
CIS, and other security frameworks.
Required Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
● 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles.
● Strong knowledge of network security, cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud),
application security, and database security.
● Proficiency in security technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security,
vulnerability scanning tools, and encryption methods.
● Expertise in analyzing security threats, malware behavior, and threat intelligence.
● Experience with penetration testing, incident response, and forensic analysis.
● Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST,
SOC 2, GDPR, CMMC, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).
