Systems Engineer, Senior
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer who is a subject matter expert in Mission Command Applications, including Army Joint Battle Command Platform ( JBC-P ) , Android Tactical Assault Kit ( ATAK ) , Command Post Computing Environment ( CPCE ) , Army Air Defense, and other Command and Control ( C2 ) applications. In this role, you will lead the engineering efforts to develop, integrate, and sustain advanced systems solutions to enhance military command and control operations. Your extensive expertise will be instrumental in guiding project teams, developing innovative solutions, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and security.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,600.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. What You'll Work On:
- Lead and oversee engineering teams in the development and integration of Mission Command Applications.
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Army JBC-P, ATAK, CPCE, Army Air Defense, and other C2 applications.
- Develop and manage system requirements, ensuring alignment with client needs and operational goals.
- Enhance user experience through user- center ed design practices and usability testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and improve existing systems.
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of system solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in systems engineering and military technology.

You Have:
- 6+ years of experience in systems engineering, with a focus on Mission Command Applications such as Army JBC-P, ATAK, CPCE, Army Air Defense, and other C2 applications
- Experience with Linux-based platforms, Git, and CI / CD pipelines
- Experience developing system requirements and enhancing user experience
- Knowledge of systems engineering methodologies and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and collaborate with multiple teams
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering or Computer Science
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
- Experience with geospatial mapping and data visualization tools
- Experience working in a military or defense- related environment
- TS / SCI clearance
