Job Title: Software Performance Engineer III (Travel Tester)

Location: Richardson office 3 - 4 days per week

Developer Duties

  • Learn the details of our security products through the setup of multi- system test scenarios


  • Design , develop, and automate a performance test framework to evaluate our products


  • Assist with the day-to-day management of a small data center


  • Work to become a subject matter expert on Networking, UEFI, and automation tools


  • Travel up to 25% to customer sites to evaluate and integrate new hardware systems for use with our products


  • Must be willing to watch 90's movies to understand quotes used by management


Requir ements:

  • The ability to obtain the appropriate work authorizations that may be required under U.S. ITAR or EAR regulations from the applicable U.S government agency.


  • A ctive (currently in Use) TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science , e ngineering, or a related technical field; advanced degrees are a plus


  • S elf-motivated and flexible to changing tasks


  • Strong desire to learn new skills and tools as needed


  • Must have 3 + years of experience with C/C++ , Python , or Rust


  • Must have 3+ years of experience developing software for Linux or Unix environments


Desired Skills

  • Knowledge of networking concepts (TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6)


  • Linux administration experience


  • Experience setting up Secure Boot and developing UEFI applications


  • Strong un derstanding of computer security concepts


A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:
$106,358.42-148,481.94 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
