Insight Global is actively hiring four Senior RF Technicians to join our team supporting a newly awarded DoD Program in Annapolis Junction. THIS IS AN ONSITE POSITION - 5 Days a week.
The selected candidates should be Senior Level Technicians who will be responsible for setting up, testing, calibrating, and commissioning fully functional systems alongside a dedicated team.
They will review and implement engineering drawings to manufacture complex test systems and coordinate revisions with project design engineers. Your tasks will include installing complex RF assemblies, making connections, and routing large cable assemblies. You will work with engineers to troubleshoot hardware failures as needed and must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams. Additionally, you will devise and implement methods and procedures for evaluating the accuracy of test stand installations based on provided drawings. Proficiency in using basic hand tools and lifting equipment is required, along with knowledge of electronic principles, the ability to wire and assemble circuits, and an understanding of the operation of basic test equipment.
Must Haves:
- TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
- Associates Degree and 6+ years of RF Technician experience, or no Degree with 4+ Years of experience
- Experience installing complex RF assemblies, including making connections and routing large cable assemblies - i.e. spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, network analyzers
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic test systems
• Cabling and rack installation/electronic system integration experience
