Test Engineer

Join Point Solutions Group and our Federal Services Team supporting innovate software and systems development efforts for the DoD and Intel Communities! We are looking for a junior level Software Test Engineer to be a part of our team supporting the Bobcat program in Herndon, VA. This engineer will apply software development knowledge to test applications developed primarily with the Microsoft tech stack under DevOps principles. An active TS/SCI with current CI Poly is required to be considered for this role.

Job Responsibilities:

- Execute test cases according to established test plans
- Identify and properly document software bugs
- Collaborate with software development and DevOps teams to ensure software is functioning properly

Required Skills and Experience:

- Active Top Secret SCI Clearance with current adjudicated CI Polygraph
- BS in computer science, software development, or a related technical field or equivalent professional experience
- 0-2 years of professional software testing experience
- Current Security+, SSCP, or CISSP (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- Knowledge of basic software practices such as: object oriented programing, coding standards, unit testing, relational databases.
- Ability to work in environment using agile software development methodologies and processes
- Ability to work with a team
