Country Intelligence Group is seeking a Full-Time highly skilled Full-Time Software Engineer to lead and contribute to complex software development projects. In this role, the candidate will serve as the technical lead for multiple development teams, driving innovation and ensuring the successful implementation of new technologies and processes.
The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the software development lifecycle, selecting appropriate methodologies in coordination with customers and system engineering, and ensuring the quality and integrity of all developed and modified software.
As a key leader, the candidate will delegate programming and testing responsibilities across teams, providing guidance and monitoring performance to achieve project goals. This role requires a strong technical background, strategic decision-making skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Tasks Performed:
• Design or implement complex algorithms requiring adherence to strict timing, system resource, or interface constraints
• Perform quality control on team products Implement recommendations for improving documentation and software development process standards
• Oversee one or more software development teams and ensure the work is completed in accordance with the constraints of the software development process being used on any project
• Confer with system engineers and hardware engineers to derive software requirements and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure operational specifications are met
Education, Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum High School Diploma/GED with at least 18 years of relevant experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science with at least 14 years of relevant experience
• Experience with Enterprise Java development
• Experience developing service-oriented architecture
• Experience developing micro service solutions
• Database experience
• Knowledge of parameters and values represented in cellular communications
• Linux / Unix command-line
• Agile development
• Java
• Kubernetes, Docker or similar
• Mongo, MySQL, or similar
• Jira
• Confluence, SharePoint, or similar
Other Job Requirements:
• Minimum Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
• U.S. Citizenship, and successful background check
