WHAT WE NEED:
Are you a skilled professional with a passion for keeping operations running smoothly? We’re looking for a dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee the daily management of our facilities and ensure everything operates efficiently behind the scenes.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing the maintenance, safety, and functionality of our two facilities, handling everything from coordinating repairs and overseeing vendor relationships to managing budgets and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your contributions will directly impact the success of our daily operations, and we’re looking for someone who can think on their feet and handle any challenges that come their way.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day operations of all facilities, ensuring all systems are functional and running efficiently.
• Manage maintenance schedules, repairs, and renovations for all building systems (HVAC, plumbing,
electrical, etc.).
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for services and repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Manage, bid, and negotiate budgets for facility-related expenses, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
• Lead the planning and execution of facility-related projects.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for facility-related issues that arise.
• Develop comprehensive inspection process for properties; complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and
annual inspections as required for a specific asset, best practices, and/or client requirements.
• Ensure vacated tenant spaces are made ready for the next incoming tenant, including furniture repairs,
space repairs, and all janitorial needs.
What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role with experience in facilities operations and
maintenance.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of safety regulations, building codes, and maintenance best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment including being available for
24/7 On-call for building emergencies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients and external vendors.
Preferred Qualifications:
• 1-3+ years of management experience
• Active TS/SCI Clearance and possess a Counterintelligence or full-scope polygraph
• Budgeting experience
• Experience with security facility operations (SCIFs)
• Bachelor or Master’s degree in engineering, facilities management, business management, or related
field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
Nice to Have:
• Experience with building management software or other facility management tools.
• Certifications in facilities management or safety (e.g., IFMA, OSHA).
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Background in construction or project management.
• Experience managing a team or working with cross-functional departments.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency practices or sustainability initiatives.
