Test Engineer
The Opportunity:
As a Test Engineer, you know leading-edge system development and tests are critical to national defense. In this role, you'll contribute to the direction of mission-critical solutions by evaluating, improving, and designing leading-edge aerospace and defense technology. You'll work with a large community of aerospace and test engineers across the company and collaborate with other engineers and internal company personnel to define product specifications, develop conceptual and final design solutions, manage and coordinate project activities, support existing product offerings, and perform testing or analysis of new and existing products. You will deliver world-class solutions to originate and develop solutions, resolve problems, and ensure smooth operations in a variant of settings. You will also prepare diagrams, charts, drawings, calculations, and reports to support integrated platform design and assembly and make recommendations for improvements. Your engineering knowledge will help the DoD expand and improve their capabilities to protect national security and the warfighter.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $96,700.00 to $220,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 7+ years of experience writing test plans and test cases, developing, configuring, and executing automated test scripts, and maintaining automated tests and test environments
- 7+ years of experience with test management tools
- Experience with aircraft or weapon ry testing and certification
- Experience with different types of testing such as Smoke testing, Functional testing, System Integration testing, End-to-End testing, Regression testing, and Load or Performance testing with JMeter or LoadRunner
- Knowledge of DoD and USAF test processes in the acquisition lifecycle
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Selenium, UFT, and industry best practices, to successfully integrate in a client development environment
- Ability to work in a Test Planning Working Group ( TPWG ) to produce test plans for sub-system and system level testing
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with DevOps concepts and integrating regression tests as part of the CI / CD pipeline and build process
- Experience working with enterprise cyber defense tools, including Workspace ONE, IBM MaaS360, Micro sof t Intune, ForeScout, BigFix, or Tenable Security Center
- Experience with testing frameworks such as RestAssured
- Knowledge of non-functional automation testing tools, including JMeter or LoadRunner
- Top Secret clearance
- Master's degree
- Agile or SAFe Certification
