Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a HBSS Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Washington, DC. The HBSS Engineer will p rovide support for facilitating and identifying current security infrastructure and define future programs, administration and implementation of firewall and other related security issues on systems.

Responsibilities of the HBSS Engineer:
- Provides support to plan, coordinate, and implement the organization's information security.
- Provides support for facilitating and identifying current security infrastructure and define future programs, administration and implementation of firewall and other related security issues on systems.
Qualifications of the HBSS Engineer:
- 5+ years of IT Security experience with recent engineering expertise with HBSS tools
- A working knowledge of several of the following areas is required:
- Understanding of business security practices and procedures
- Knowledge of current security tools available
- Hardware/software firewalls and there implementation
- Different communication protocols
- Encryption techniques/tools
- Familiarity with commercial products, and current Internet/EC technology
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; can be substituted with an additional 2+ years related experience.
Compensation for the HBSS Engineer:
- Salary Range: $150,000+ *flexible based on experience*
