The IC CAE Program is seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Coordinator to oversee and drive the success of our collaborative efforts with partner universities across the U.S. In this role, you will play a key part in strengthening the relationship between academia and the Intelligence Community (IC), ensuring alignment with national security priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the coordination of the IC CAE Program, working directly with partner universities to ensure federal grant compliance and effective program execution.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Principal Investigators, university administrators, and IC stakeholders, facilitating meaningful collaboration.
- Evaluate grant proposals, curricula, and course materials to ensure they meet program objectives and align with U.S. national security goals.
- Lead both virtual and in-person engagements with IC agencies, universities, and the IC CAE's Ambassadors Network.
- Provide expert guidance on the administration and implementation of IC CAE policies and procedures.
- Contribute to high-level reports, including input for Congress, Congressionally Directed Action responses, and the Congressional Budget Justification Book. Prepare issue papers, executive summaries, talking points, and briefing materials.
- Promote IC career opportunities to university students, effectively communicating the missions and requirements of IC agencies.
- Organize and lead seminars, conferences, panels, and school visits to foster greater engagement between IC agencies and academic institutions.
- Design and lead independent projects to advance IC CAE objectives.
- Analyze and assess the impact of legislation, IC directives, and strategy papers on the IC CAE Program, developing actionable implementation plans.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to successfully complete a five-day online federal grant management course.
- Ability to travel domestically 1-2 times per quarter.
- Extensive understanding of the Intelligence Community and experience with interagency collaboration.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Teams and Outlook.
- Academic Experience: Experience working with or coordinating within academic environments.
- Curriculum Development: Experience developing curricula, syllabi, and course objectives.
- Familiarity with National Intelligence Priorities: Knowledge of the National Intelligence Priorities Framework.
- Grant Management Expertise: Experience managing grants in a federal or academic conte
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree and 18 years of experience, a Master's degree plus 10 years of experience, or no degree with 24 years of experience.
