Lockheed Martin Aeronautics is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer Staff (Level 4) to join our Core Aero Production Scheduling team in Fort Worth, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining production schedules, supporting factory capacity planning, and ensuring efficient execution of manufacturing operations. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
• Production Scheduling - Create and maintain detailed production schedules, including PD-74 schedules, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
• Schedule Simulations & Recovery Plans - Develop schedule simulations and recovery plans to support production build teams and mitigate schedule risks.
• Program Support - Collaborate with the Program Office to fulfill ad-hoc scheduling and planning requests.
• ERP System Maintenance - Maintain and update SAP and other ERP systems to ensure accurate data for production scheduling.
• Factory Capacity Planning - Analyze factory capacity and resource allocation to optimize production efficiency.
• Data Analysis & Performance Metrics - Use data analytics and performance tracking to drive improvements in manufacturing operations.

• Detail-Oriented Planner - You have experience creating and maintaining production schedules in a manufacturing environment.
• Data-Driven Analyst - You excel at data analysis, performance tracking, and process optimization.
• ERP & Systems Expert - You are familiar with SAP or similar ERP systems for production planning and scheduling.
• Problem Solver - You can assess complex production challenges and develop effective scheduling and recovery solutions.
• Strong Communicator - You work well with cross-functional teams and can present data-driven recommendations to leadership.

Basic Qualifications:
• Shop floor production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience creating and maintaining production build schedules.
• Strong data analysis skills, including working with data tables.
• Advanced Excel proficiency for data analysis and scheduling
Desired Skills:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Experience integrating production schedules with capacity planning and program requirements.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite and analytical/project planning tools.
• Familiarity with data systems and MES tools (SAP, EDW, Business Objects).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply Industrial Engineering principles.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills, particularly in Production Operations and Program Offices.
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Knowledge of Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and Program Planning & Scheduling (PP&S).
• Strong SAP expertise or experience with similar ERP systems.
