DevOps Engineer

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. You Have:
- 5+ years of experience building and supporting DevOps tools and continuous integration and continuous delivery ( CI / CD ) pipelines
- 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes involving scripting
- Experience developing custom applications and supporting them in a production environment
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code environments, including activities around the automated server or network configurations, large-scale sof tware deployments, or monitoring and testing such as CI / CD
- Knowledge of container networking, monitoring, and storage solutions
- Knowledge of container security technologies and evaluating and mitigating or resolving vulnerability findings
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to obtain a Security+ CE within 6 weeks of hire date
Nice If You Have:
- 2+ years of experience managing tools deployed with Helm using ArgoCD or Flux, including writing custom Helm charts and with automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
- Experience developing in Java or Python
- Experience with the design, deployment, and management of Cloud environments, including AWS or Azure
- Experience using or migrating CI / CD pipeline solutions or tools, including Jenkins or Git
- Experience with system integration using a variety of protocols, including JSON, REST, and XML
- Experience with scripting in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Groovy, or Ruby, and leveraging JSON, YAML, or XML for configuration
- Knowledge of cloud and virtualization-based technologies, including Docker, Azure, AWS, or VMware
- Knowledge of Linux or UNIX administration and automation and foundational system administration principles
- TS / SCI clearance
- Kubernetes Certification
