Space Systems Data Architect, Senior
Key Role:
Leverage expertise as a data architect to design connective data fabric solutions to help our clients solve complex systems of systems challenges for next-generation proliferated satellite constellations. Work with data fabrics connected to data across all domains of command control, communications, compute, cyber, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance ( C5ISR ) systems. Apply model-driven design principles to develop and demonstrate capability of designs to meet client's mission performance requirements. Use digital engineering tools and principles to decompose, assess, and manage performance budget s such as data latency budget s. Apply agile development principals to develop roadmaps and work packages that align with project priorities and make use of collaboration and management sof tware tools to manage project execution. Support proposal teams and contribute or lead authoring of technical content. Identify and pursue expanded and new technical scope with current and new customers. Develops technical products to support the capture of additional work through viewpoints, white papers, or other intellectual capital. Build and maintain t rus ted relationships with clients through technical excellence. Communicate technical information to senior and executive leadership, and clients. Communicate with high technical precision through succinct presentations, engineering reviews, and technical briefings and convey complex technical concepts simply to non-technical audiences.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with national security satellite systems for SIGINT or GEOINT missions
- Experience designing cloud and on-premises agnostic scal able data architectures
- Experience developing for Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, or Data Lakehouses
- Experience developing data orchestration pipelines and workflow automation
- Experience modeling complex data routing networks and optimizing dynamic bandwidth
- Knowledge of Tasking, Collection, Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination ( TCPED )
- Top Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree
Additional Qualifications:
- Experience with specific data fabric related technologies like Confluent
- Experience with MBSE tools like Cameo Enterprise Architecture or similar
- Experience in Agile and DevSecOps sof tware development
- Knowledge of automation techniques using artifi cia l intelligence and machine learning
- Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
